We got this for our eight-year-old son for Christmas as a starter together to see if there is an interest in playing drums. is a nice set to begin before investing money in a larger set. the set is well built and not too cheaply made. My son is very tall for her age, taller than all his companions. It does well with this as a set of beginner.
